Rapper - Lil B Names New Album - I’m Gay

Late last year, when Lil B The Based God jokingly threatened to rape Kanye West in a Twitter update, sparking controversy and questions about his sexual preference.

Although he had since come out denying any homosexual tendencies on his part, at the massive Coachella Festival over the weekend in California, the Berkeley rapper revealed that when his next album drops, he's coming out the closet ... metaphorically.

"I'm gonna do the most controversial thing in hip-hop," Lil B said on stage. "Ya'll heard it first. And I'mma just show you that words don't mean sh**. I'mma make an album called I'm Gay, right."

The crowd burst into laughter when the rapper made the announcement, but Lil B was dead serious, and elaborated on his reasoning behind it.

"Now I'mma tell you why I'm the first person to do it in hip-hop and why you're the first people to know my reasons," Lil B explained. "I'm just gonna tell you. So many people be worried about what people mean and definitions of words and sh**... Now I like women, I love women, you feel me? But within yourselves, no matter what you do, it doesn't matter, it's like live life. You've only got one life to live. Be happy."

At press time, it was unknown when Lil B's album was expected to drop.

His last album, Angels Exodus, dropped in January, via Amalgam Digital, where he previously inked a multiple album deal in December 2010.

Toddler shoots mom dead, boy's father tells Florida police

(CNN) -- A toddler shot and killed his mother, the boy's father told South Florida police, who say they will talk to the 2-1/2-year-old. The father, who called 911, told police he was trying to take the firearm away from the child when it discharged. The boy's mother -- Julia Bennett, 33 -- was shot once in the back and died from the injury, said Miramar Police spokeswoman Tania Rues. "What we do know is that last Wednesday, shortly after 7 o'clock, we received a 911 call from a gentleman stating that his 2-1/2-year-old son accidentally shot his mother -- the boy's mother," Rues told HLN's Vinnie Politan. Rues said investigators will talk to the toddler about the shooting, but that "due to the age, we're not expecting to get much." The boy's father has not been identified by police. Dexter Isaac Confesses To 1994 Robbery/Shooting Of 2Pac

In a statement to AllHipHop, Dexter Isaac calls Jimmy Henchmen a government informant and takes responsibility for robbing and shooting Tupac Shakur in 1994. In 1994, Tupac Shakur was shot during a robbery while entering New York’s Quad Studios. After sustaining five gunshot wounds, Shakur would check himself out of the hospital and attend the sexual abuse trial that would send him to jail one year later. Until his death, ‘Pac maintained that Notorious B.I.G. and Sean Combs were somehow connected to the shooting. He named former B.I.G. associate James “Henchmen” Rosemond in the song “Against All Odds.” On Wednesday, Dexter Isaac told AllHipHop.com that Rosemond paid him $2,500 to rob Shakur.
