Powder at Kennedy Space Center tests positive for cocaine

Miami (CNN) -- NASA's Inspector General's Office says an investigation is under way after a white powdery substance found at the Kennedy Space Center tested positive for cocaine.

"Law enforcement personnel field tested the substance, which indicated a positive test for cocaine," said Renee Juhans, an executive officer with the office.

"The substance is now at an accredited crime lab for further testing," she said.

Juhans said that 4.2 grams of a white powdery substance was found in a NASA facility March 7. She could not confirm where, at the Kennedy Space Center, the drug was found.

"A NASA Office of Inspector General investigation is ongoing," she said.

NASA has a zero-tolerance drug policy. All employees may be randomly tested. It is not known whether any employees have been asked to submit to drug testing in this investigation.

"We have no further comment," Juhans said.

In January 2010, about 200 Kennedy Space Center workers were tested when a small bag of cocaine was found inside a space shuttle processing facility where Discovery was being readied for flight. That case was closed, and there were no arrests.

    Ok this is priceless on sooo many levels. They shutting the program anyhow so, u telling me someone dropped they coke on NASA grounds? There are coke heads @ NASA? Hahahaha...*wipes tear from eye....woo..well I guess u'd HAVE to be pretty high to even come up with the concept of going to space & the moon. Aaand if u want to drive cross country in a diaper to tell some one u love 'em

Toddler shoots mom dead, boy's father tells Florida police

(CNN) -- A toddler shot and killed his mother, the boy's father told South Florida police, who say they will talk to the 2-1/2-year-old. The father, who called 911, told police he was trying to take the firearm away from the child when it discharged. The boy's mother -- Julia Bennett, 33 -- was shot once in the back and died from the injury, said Miramar Police spokeswoman Tania Rues. "What we do know is that last Wednesday, shortly after 7 o'clock, we received a 911 call from a gentleman stating that his 2-1/2-year-old son accidentally shot his mother -- the boy's mother," Rues told HLN's Vinnie Politan. Dexter Isaac Confesses To 1994 Robbery/Shooting Of 2Pac

In a statement to AllHipHop, Dexter Isaac calls Jimmy Henchmen a government informant and takes responsibility for robbing and shooting Tupac Shakur in 1994. In 1994, Tupac Shakur was shot during a robbery while entering New York’s Quad Studios. After sustaining five gunshot wounds, Shakur would check himself out of the hospital and attend the sexual abuse trial that would send him to jail one year later. Until his death, ‘Pac maintained that Notorious B.I.G. and Sean Combs were somehow connected to the shooting.
